But later in the article, it says "Overall Reinhart has 33 even strength points in 66 games over the last two seasons when he has played less than five minutes with Eichel at 5 on 5." So if the overall takes all of last season into account, it feel like a very informative analysis.

And makes the bridge deal an even better coup for his agent.

Trading Nylander doesn't do anything, UNLESS his perceived value greatly outweighs his current value. He's on an ELC for the next two seasons and the org gains little to nothing in moving him. Unless Peter Chiarelli offers you Oscar Klefbom for him. Yes, I'm aware he was fired.

You mentioned Johan Girgensons and Bowls as guys that won't be receiving contracts if they're not traded. I could certainly be wrong, but I feel as though the org will most certainly hang on to at least one of those two forwards. Bowls wish for a trade, as I feel, will all but certainly go through, unless of course someone else like Scandella is traded and Bowls gets full time duty. If you're looking to shed salary, Scandella would be the one to move, especially if the value coming back exceeds Bowl's total value.

This chart essentially says Scandella is generally more usefull overall than Beaulieu. So you offer both for trade, and see which brings your team a better net value.

Sam Reinhart has played in 15 games this season where he spent three minutes or less at 5 on 5 with Eichel. In those 15 games, Reinhart has four goals and nine points at 5 on 5. According to Natural Stat Trick, he has a slightly better 5 on 5 Corsi for percentage (50.69 vs 50.37) away from Eichel.

The story is the same for parts of last season. We all remember when Reinhart got hot once the calendar flipped to 2018 during the 2017-18 campaign. He played 22 games post-January 1, 2018 without Eichel and registered 18 points at 5 on 5 over that stretch. Reinhart only played 236:22 total with Eichel last season (838:48 without) at 5 on 5 according to Natural Stat Trick.

He had a better CF% of 52.00 away from Eichel, had a higher SCF%, and HDCF% as well.

Overall Reinhart has 33 even strength points in 66 games over the last two seasons when he has played less than five minutes with Eichel at 5 on 5.

Meaning without Eichel, he’s played at a 41 even strength points per 82 games pace. When you add in his career average of 16 power play points per 82 games, that makes him a 57 points per 82 games winger over the last two seasons without Eichel.

I have said numerous times that he is a 55-60 point guy away from Eichel. The PP also effectively runs through Eichel so I guess all things considered he gets a bump from Eichel whether he plays with him at even strength or not. Also him having a better CF% away from Eichel is not shocking at all considering he would be facing easier matchups. Reinhart is a good player and far from a problem on the team. He played like a 2nd overall pick the other night Hope to see that effort from him consistently. That was Reinhart’s best game since he centred a line with domi and Duclair at the WJC.
