Okposo has more goals than:
Rodrigues, Mittelstadt, Sheary & Thompson
*it’s only 1 or 2, but still- just goes to show that for as bad as he’s been, these other guys we were counting on haven’t held up there end either

It's dumb, all the while Skinner sits on the bench. Phil should have went for the jugular and put Eichel and Skinner out there to start the OT and go for the W. Skinner was on fire and yet the gum chewer sits him. Brilliant.

I watched the entire 1980 miracle game for the first time last night.

Few thoughts:

Krutov was having a great game. Penalty was kinda weak

US did a lot of hooking

The fact that there was no delay of game for intentionally shooting out of play at that time helped the US

There must have been 20 stoppages when players tied the puck up along the boards. WTF was that? I do not remember that from the mid-90s on.

Did the US have like 7 shots the entire game?

The crowd kinda sucked until the end.

Al Michaels and Ken Dryden were pretty good

I'd like to show how the UFA market alone could help or hurt the Buffalo Sabres.

Most of the options are basically on par with Scandella.

Jake Gardiner and Tyler Myers would be two upgrades over both Bogo and Scandella, in the puck moving aspects. Jordie Benn could be a cheap option to help in the D zone specifically.

Also, Erik Karlsson would be good, too. Surprise.

above average coaching and this team is in the playoffs

peggy said money was no longer going to be an issues and the sabres were going to win cups


yet they hire an inexperienced head coach and we are wasting years of eichel, dahlin, risto, reinhart as well as pommer's ride into the sunset

we tried the feel good story with housley, he is just not getting it done, and will probably only be a decent bench coach

It’s pretty apparent that he isn’t the right coach for such an incomplete lineup
Tough to play the system/style he wants with some of the players we have

Adding Berglund & Sobotka to the guys we still had that already weren’t a good fit...
