So Buffalo has 3 1st rd picks this coming draft. Curious if they will try and use one of them to try and get a player to help them down the stretch.

Players have worked hard and are right in the thick of it. In my opinion - Botterill owes it to the players and coaches to give them a few more bullets and try. It has been way too long.

They need a second line centre.....Mittelstad is good but will need time.

Can they package up someone like Nyalnder and a first ( might cost more) for Duchene assuming he would sign an extension? Maybe add STL's second in 2021

I am hoping he will become a positive contributor. However, at this point, he has the "toe-drag missle" move, and its a hell of a shot, but he misses the net a hell of a lot.

For now, he's a one trick pony and the trick needs to be a lot more accurate.

They gave him a few games up toward the top of the lineup and he puked on his chance.

Early in season he was said to be very receptive to being coached up when he was in the box. I think this "sit down" may have the intent of getting him to do it again in the hopes of taking development to the next level.
