I think Jack dominates games regularly, but given the fact that we have only been able to put together ONE LINE, Jack gets double and triple teamed regularly.

Anybody who is disappointed with Jacks play - even for $10M - is just looking at things wrong.

He’s the best player on the ice most nights but he’s not close to McD or some others and to address Kaisers point, McD plays with crap every night and still gets 100 points a season.

Well, it was the biggest game of the season.
Jack didn't shine in it, and his subpar performance was noticeable in a game they needed more out of him.
I agree it is crazy to criticize his ability to take over games in general.
It will be interesting to see what his production is like in critical games going forward...especially when the roster has been rounded out alot more.

beaulieu is not great, but he can send a quick outlet pass and follow into the other zone for a rush, scandella does nothing but make bad passes and skate backwards to float in the corner of our own end instead of clearing the front of the net

I'm with the German. If you watch, really watch, Jack is double or triple teamed ALL the time. And when he does work to get open, skinner can't hit the side of a barn with a pass. every guy on the ice gives it to him and then probably screams to him when they're open, after he beats his double or triple team. Dude needs SOME help, whether it be harder working linemates or another consistent scoring line to help take some heat off. Hockey is not a 1 man show, but Jack is doing his best at being that still.
