Carol Schram: Vancouver Canucks go with same lineup to close road trip vs surging Chicago After playing well but coming up on the short end of the scoreboard in their last two games, the Vancouver Canucks will stick with the same lineup they deployed on Tuesday in Washington as they try to snap the Blackhawks' five-game winning streak in Chicago.

Thanks Carol.
Heard Jim Robson on TSN1040 yesterday and agreed with what he had to say about Pettersson. Great player but looks lately like he's trying to do too much all by himself. He needs to have more confidence in his line mates.
3-2 Chicago tonight.

Getting a couple plugs to play with will do that to you. Hopefully Green stops out coaching himself.

At least they have three slices of bread (Petey, Boes and Horvs), so they should be able to make a triple decker!

lol no doubt. Pettersson with Rousel/Leivo last game was a head scratcher to be sure.

Now Bo gets his turn with the plugs.

Absolutely, hope Green has told him the same.

I see what he was doing. Petey is Petey, ROusell was firing on all cylinders and Leivo needs to get going. He was looking for something and it almost worked. I like what Green has been doing.

line juggling with coaches is always a funny thing. AV drove most crazy with it.

Petey and Boeser are working so don't split them up and let them play through their issues. If anything leave Roussel with Bo. Leivo had a good start but will not help Petey or Roussel for the most part. Virtanen was working with Bo too. Now Bo has granlund and another plug. Coaches are so impatient nowadays they just don't seem to let players get through their slumps.

Like the MacDavid/Draisaitl thing. Just fu*cking leave them together and figure the rest out lol.

Green was trying to get his best players away from the other teams best checkers by splitting them up. It was 2010 all over again.

I see some of you are calling for a CHI victory tonight. I find that interesting.

Granted, I don't follow the ups and downs of VAN all that closely, so my thinking is that it's the end of a long road trip for your guys...and 3 in four nights (and my guys are somehow rolling). Still think we need to sell, but with our GM who knows what he might do.

Anyway, should be a good one tonight. Good luck to your boys once they leave town.

Rousell is growing on me.
Good hard working, blue collar, lunch bucket carrying (insert other cliches) type of player that becomes a fan favourite.

Some slick passes and set up's in the past 2 games and still brings that grit that this team needs more of imo.

Bo at the beginning of the year produced like a second line C . He has fallen back to being a 3LC again and that really hurts the Canucks . I think Bo Roussel and Jake make a good third line . The team does need to find secondary consistent scoring.

It's just reality. CHI is playing good Hockey right now. We are losing tight games. Bo is in a funk...and Petey and Boeser were split up last game vs the cup champs.

Don't really see a scenario where we can win tonight. But one never knows...still waiting for Marky to 'steal one' lol.

They will need a 2C as well then.

I think he’s a good 2C with the right wingers. Doesn’t have much to work with, and just sort of bull rushes it on his own right now.
