Van's D does suck but they do have 4 signed RHD for next season. I don't know if he needs to bulk up but faster on puck decisions.

I read early last year, that he considered himself as a scoring Dman but was asked to change his style by his coach. Then he got injured for a long period and got his label defensive Dman.

It might be an option to play a year in Europe. If he is dominating this year in Jr maybe make next year a more challenging year.

Impressive numbers for a draft eligible defensemen in the WHL. Doesn't seem to have a weaknesses in skating or pucks skills.

Maybe even climbs to 3rd. I doubt he will displace the top 2.
