Blues posted an info-graphic today. Binnington is the 31st NHL goalie to win 8 of his first 10 NHL starts. 2 others have been St Louis Blues when doing this:

Brent Johnson
Jake Allen

Winning the last two games makes this team legit.

Freaking Schwartz misses the empty net and that means his confidence is nearly gone.

Sundqvist has almost as many points and Thomas isn't too far behind. Which begs the question how do you give Steen more ice time?

Really want to see Fabbri get some ice. I'd say if Steen takes a bad penalty then you bench him like Perron was benched.

Look for Steen to drop down when perron comes back. Really hated to see Schwartz miss that empty netter, hopefully that doesn't bother him too much. Even without scoring the rest of his game is looking good.

Schwartz sucking this year has affected Schenn also. When Perron is back u would have to think that him, Sunny, and Thomas all play more minutes than steen. Steen gets his time on penalty kill. Even though Sunny And Barby look good there also.

(frank) it. Trade steen. We can probably do without him and just get a pick or a prospect

It would be difficult to trade Steen: cap hit, nmc, production. Otherwise heck yeah. His problem is that he's always hurt or playing with an injury. When he's actually healthy he's not bad. But then the dressing room rumors.

Schwartz has been good, minus production. His underlying numbers are good. He's a half second off his normal shot, which is a huge difference in this league. Most likely he is playing with some sort of injury that is affecting his shot and is compensating. This happened to Tarasenko.

That Bozak goal might be my favourite of the year. No doubt a lot of luck in the execution, but it looked like the play had already fallen apart and somehow he absolutely rips it back hand top cheese, off the skates, around the d. I watch hockey for magic moments like that. I'm betting he was just trying to salvage the rush by putting it on net.

Schwartz made some excellent plays today. His play is getting better and better. It’s a matter of time before he starts finding the net.

What an amazing weekend against a club that should have a deep playoff run. I’m glad Poile added MacLeod and Boyle to this team. They’re slower and take more stupid penalties.

Absolutely! It’s been a fantastic run, between Vladi’s diving goal and that surprise effort! Tarasenko’s first today was pretty nice too. So quick...

The beauty in the grind.
