I think everyone here needs to accept that benching rookies is overall a part of their development plans, according to Housley. Be mad all you want, question it all you want, but you might as well accept it. Tage will sit sometimes. So will Pilut, and so will CJ. Mittelstadt and Dahlin are immune, because Dahlin, and faceoffs are clearly a demand for this team, as it still suits up Sobotka.

If we're strictly looking at our own talent, outside of future draft picks, UFA and trades, one should hope that Borgen, Guhle and Samuelsson hit their potentials, along with Pilut and Dahlin, and this defense could theoretically be amazing. What a nice mix of puck movers and net defenders.

Hopefully we get something out of Fitzgerald and Bryson.
