Amerks lead Utica after the 1st 2-0.
Olofsson (PP)
Simpson
#GOALofsson
His shot is ridiculous. A one timer for the goal. - mhp
I think Olofsson could be our version of Andreas Johnsson. Both 7 round picks, both came over to North America at the age of 23, Johnsson absolutely dominated the AHL and was almost at a 2.00 PPG rate in the AHL playoffs on route to the Calder cup. Olofsson isn’t putting up those kind of numbers but with that shot alone he could be of use in the NHL. Even if he’s a 3rd liner but gets thrown over the boards on the 1st unit PP opposite Eichel he could be lethal. |

Just curious, but do you know who Johansson's center was? Olofsson has a future 3C/4C in Asplund

Sorry for your loss sir - SABRES 89
Thank you 89.
Larry was an older homeless gentlemen that everyone knew over in the Main and Union area over here.
He died of hypothermia on a sub zero night here inside of a bus shelter.
I wish that lonely frightening demise upon no one.
My wife and I do many things for the homeless.
Or as much as we can to help them at least.
We spent Christmas day on the streets giving out care packages on the west side, downtown and elmwood village area that we made for the homeless with pieces of scripture about HOPE.
We all need hope, hope is key.
This was the best Christmas I have had in my life.
Their appreciation and their faces was the best gift ever.
Like I said, I love everyone. |

Uhh that idk. But him and Kapanen were both key cogs on that Calder Cup winner. I hope Asplund and Olofsson have huge playoffs and good offseason and earn a roster spot next year. |

Olofsson is putting up almost a PPG rate, which is what Johnsson did last year in the AHL. Johnsson was at a 1.5PPG rate in the playoffs. |

really sorry to hear that.... you are correct nothing without hope.
it's a sad commentary that we have people dying in this country because it's cold outside and they are homeless. |

Rochester better figure out goaltending if they want to make some noise in the playoffs.
Olofsson is what Nylander was supposed to be....
Olofsson might score more points in one season in the AHL than StinkNylander has in 3... (Speaking of, is he hurt AGAIN or just scratched the last couple games)?

I read on Twitter he was injured (lower body?) in practice, but not serious. Who knows how true that is. |

I'm still hopeful we'll see Olofsson this year.
Swap him for Tage. Pull the plug on the Tage Thompson experience |

I will never not mention this but Matthew Collier on the radio said he wouldn't have traded Girgensons for the 1st overall draft pick in the upcoming draft
I believe it was Mackinnon draft year

He took a bump from Borgen at practice and has a lower body injury. He gets hurt way too easily. I imagine there is a growing frustration in the organization with this kid. |

I don't think you'll see Olofsson in Buffalo this year. I get the feeling they want him there, continue his development. He'll be a full time Sabre next year along with CJ. |
