That doesn't surprise me.

Kim is a very down to earth, humble person. And very thankful for the opportunity to own this team.

Maybe the daughter should get her head out of her own ass.

You've got a franchise player coming off as a petulant child, a key offensive cog wrongfully calling out his goaltending and a coach who may have just thrown his GM under the bus.

I've got no problem at all with Jack's postgame. He was pissed off, at himself mostly. He didn't play well and he knew it. Marty mentioned as well that Jack had been switching up the tape on his sticks throughout the game -- "he was searching."

Asked about the OT winner after he missed the net:

"Yeah, I gotta hit the net. This one's on me."

I don't think being a captain and the not all rainbows metaphor is lost on him at all.

Pretty sad Eichel has to keep answering for this crap after every game.

Then hire a president of Hockey Operations that can make the decisions. Keep Kim out of it.
- c1067

I don't know what Terry and Kim ultimately have to directly do with the on ice results. This is such a giant misconception. The only fault they have is the person they hired to run the team, and that's Botterill. It's solely Botterill's job to fix the team in any way he can.

People need to realize that this team was deep into last place, last year. And somehow by the grace of god, one day beyond October, they were FIRST in the league.

I'm by no means saying their play is acceptable. But like it or not, this team has technically improved. More MUST come. And more will come, based on moves already made.

Jake Muzzin, a top 4 D, cost a 1st round pick. Just keep that in mind.

he is exactly the right person who has to answer for the crap every game, he is your captain and leader of the team.

I have ZERO issue with him being pissed off with reporters after the game. he should be pissed off.

Terry had his coach introduce Donald Trump in his arena. I don't think they're bleeding heart liberals.

And godbid the sabres support this:

"We support any teammate, coach or fan who brings heart, energy and passion to the rink. We believe all hockey programs - from professionals to youth organizations - should provide a safe, positive and inclusive environment for players and families regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, disability, sexual orientation and socio-economic status."

How about they put a competitive product on the ice? Let them worry about that first, before they try to solve the worlds problems.

Sat at a table.

Orders food

Gets food in the normal amount of time but we got super busy after they sat and ordered. Decides to order takeout after they eat, pissed off that she can’t get it before the other tables orders. Steals bf’s truck, leaves him at the bar.

Real piece of work.

What does that have anything to do with the Sabres? Must be great to have a great coach and 4 of the top talents in the world.

They're variably independent. This has nothing to do with the "Do Something Terry" argument.

It's a league-wide initiative that has nothing to with the Sabres results at all.

I have no idea why you would even bring it up

If the players cant even cover forwards going to the ent, how are they going to play even the simplest of coaching systems? Housley is not without his faults but I fail to see how any coach gets a significantly better outcome with this team. There are too many nights where they just don't compete, and its not due to an overly complex system, if the players wont/cant cover the opposition right in front of their own net, I don't see how that's on the coach at all. Housley should not have to tell NHL players to cover guys in front of their own net.

This is pretty short sighted, don't ya think.

I get it. Everyone's irritated with the product. Let's keep in mind no one is giving away great players.

The Leafs had to pay that for Muzzin, they have done and spent to much not make a splash in the playoffs or the cup.

Glass half-full comment - at least it was an entertaining game and post-game media scrum. I would rather lose 6-5 with 39 shots on goal and a couple of 2 goal come backs than win 1-0. But that's me. Reinhart's passes were unbelievable and Skinner is the finisher that the team has been looking for for years. Botts just needs to ink him and get rid of some of our trash and we'll be fine.

That team is all offense, and they 'went for it' with Muzzin. Could the Sabres have also made that deal, and overall bought themselves, what, 2-3 more wins? I guess.

But who here thinks this team is as good as the Leafs, and have a better chance at a cup this year?

Present AND future must be accounted for. This is what makes the job so difficult. Especially with this team, who with a refined defense should have no problem making the playoffs. There is so much work to do. Murray got us Bogo for god knows why, and Botterill got us a secondary scorer and what should have been a top 4 D for a bottom 6 winger and a guy that got bought out before he was 30.

That all being said, I want Botts to use a 1st on a real, long term, top 4 talent. Scandella and Bogosian NEED to vacate. It's a challenge I am certain he is not blind to.

Bott's is a first time GM. Ownership needs to give him a person that can help make decisions. They are having him learn on the job and that is setting him up for failure.

No. He pretty much learned while he was AGM in Pittsburgh since 2009, and salary cap manager since 2007.
