By upper body.....it’s in his head? No confidence. He’s standing still on the Pp. - landros 2
Maybe, but he doesn't seem to have the same velocity/accuracy on his shot either......

And how is this different than the entire point streak? |

Weird it's a 6 goal game and I benched Simmer. Worked out well today. |

Ive been benching Provorov and Gostibehere for a while now. They practically got me to the finals last season, this year, not so much.
But, on the plus side, I drafted Hart at the beginning of the season and stashed him away. |

As much as TN wants to complain the Flyers now have what 19 out of 20 points?
They deserve some credit for ripping a streak like that off.

Good goaltending will do that. To be fair they lost a bunch of games earlier in the year where by they out played the other team, but crappy goaltending cost them games. |

13/53 points to make the playoffs
If pens lose tonight and then we beat them next week we're suddenly 4 pts behind them |

It's an opinion and not a fact. I think the mandate that Fletcher has been given is going to be the issue. I think Hextall's plan was the way to proceed rather than what Fletcher was brought in to do.
Hextall has positioned this team in a much better situation than what Hextall walked into when he was first hired. - MJL
I can't remember another GM walking into a better position than the one Fletcher inherited. Prospects, picks and cap space galore. Oh, and franchise player, franchise goalie, and two top-pairing dmen already in place.
If Fletcher can continue to avoid doing anything rash, and just stick w/ the process, this team is gonna be great sooner than later. |

With the moves today bringing more buzz in locker room I think that gets Philly another goal so I change to philly 5-2 - SMS4016
I should’ve bumped it up 2 goals... one for each bum we traded. I’ll accept the apologies now and hockeydamus will let you know Monday’s prediction |

I agree and that's what I want to happen. Stick with the process. I think Scott and Holmgren want differently.

Great Day for the Flyers!
There is nothing special about the Weise deal except he’s gone, which is what we wanted. Doesn’t matter what for, just as long as he’s gone.
Great win! Glad to see Myers is finally a Flyer. Maybe a Mac deal is in place. I still want to move forward with the best possible team and make the playoffs.
Question. I really felt like Couturier had a really crappy first half defensively but he’s been outstanding offensively all year. Do you guys think he’ll still get a Selke nomination by default because he’s more known for his defensive play? |

I agree with not blowing anything up but I do think we can expedite contending with a move or two. |

Dubas coming in to Toronto...wasn’t half bad. Fear of Fletcher trading away all the young assets is TOTALLY unfounded. Just because ownership said he had a bias for action doesn’t turn Fletcher into Chirelle. He has done things to improve the Flyers....he fired the coach ...has traded away some players who weren’t producing...now called up two of the teams top prospects. Hired a coach who has changed some roles for players that appeared written in stone with the previous guy....and low and behold, they are playing better.
