No, we'd still have him. Nylander played his D1 year in Sweden, his D2 year in the AHL (likely same scenario with the Canucks) and his D3 year (2016/17) he would've played down the lineup as the Sedins were still very much the go-to guys with the Canucks coaching and management.

Even if Nylander helped them win a few more games, they were second last, so they move up...

Went to work last Sunday out of town. Woke up Monday to a billion messages from my wife. Furnace broke. Was -30 feels like -40 outside. Was 11 C in the house.

She turned on the pellet stove that we haven't used yet and the previous owner stuffed something in the tube outside, didn't know that. Filled the house with a bit of smoke.

Winter can be real annoying. Good thing you have power again.

My Napolean wood stove cranks out 70K BTU's. Toasty warm in here.

Damn, that's why Winnipeg is a great place to be from, hope the pellet stove got sorted out, with kids it's scary.
I ended up buying a brinkmann portable fireplace. 20 pound propane tank goes inside and it looks like a trailer heater.

I called a plumber friend and he came over in the morning and fixed it that evening after he got the part. She went next door to the neighbours. Really nice retired couple. She used the space heater over night.

I would like to see us go the Calgary route. They had one or two good D and then traded for Hamilton and then Hamonic . Then they did Hanafin Lindholm deal this year that seemed to be the piece to finish the puzzle.

I would like to see us do the Hamonic type deal this year. By that I mean a trade for a second pairing RHD trade.
