How long did it take Chevyldayoff to build the Jets into a great team?
6 years?
Give Botts a (frank)ing chance. Jesus, the (frank)ing meltdowns I see on this site are ridiculous, along w the knee-jerk reactions. They lose today? They're terrible! Eff this team! Eff this city! Eff the owners! Eff the fans!
They win next game. Everything is OK.
I think some on here need meds.
Housley? Not sold on him and wouldn't bat an eyelash if he was canned after the season, but if he isn't, oh well. Give the GM who's been on the job a season and a half a chance to do his job. Perhaps he hired the wrong guy. Mistakes happen. - Powerslave
And the Jets didn’t move any of their first rounders either |

32 combined minutes for our saviors Mittlestat and Roslovic. OG, OA,2 combined shots in goal
They’re young and will learn,I’m sure - Der Kaiser
Mittelstadt was riding a 4 game point streak coming into today, Roslovic was NHL 1st star of last week. Not many players got points today. Was a hard fought game. |

My thoughts from sitting 7 rows behind the Jets net today:
Pilut and Sheary took a beating. The Jets physicality was very evident.
The Sabres definitely outworked them tonight but every shot they took they were shooting for upstairs. Hellebuyck made a ton of saves standing up and didn’t even need to go into the butterfly. They need to put more shots along the ice and drive the net.
Power play was as bad as it probably looked on TV.
I am Jacob Trouba’s #1 fan he is awesome.
Housley matchups lost us that game. Eichel and Skinner should never be on the ice in a defensive zone matchup against Schief on home ice, especially after they got worked for 2 minutes in their own zone their last shift.
Hutton was great. Couldn’t fault him for either goal. Hellebuyck was just a bit better. Sometimes talent does win over hard work and that’s what happened today. Both teams played hard. |

I think a lot of guys would look good playing with Patty Kane. Unless they moved him off that line ? I haven’t checked out the Hawks in over a week. |

Phil's hands are really tied on dzone draws. If Larsson isn't ready, he has 3 bad options. Against a deep team like the Jet's, it's going to happen.

Good post
Hellebuyck made some street hockey jump straight up saves. Kinda unorthodox.
Winnipeg has 4 solid defensemen. I was impressed.
Sabres should have won this game. They controlled most of it

They had chances to make it 2-0 in the first. They lost to a cup contender 2-1(3 with the en). I'm not gonna get mad |

It was a good, sloppy, poorly officiated game. Housley player choices in last 5 minutes sucked. |

It was definitely a good game. Jets were desperate as they had lost 3 straight coming into today. I have no complaints. Just sucked to lose with just under 4 minutes left. It had the feeling of a OT/Shootout finish. We definitely deserved at least a point today. Schief and Wheeler made a play though when they needed it. |

It's a good tweet. When Bailey/Baptiste/Fasching all failed, our RW depth was gone. Suddenly, everyone is a natural LW. - Lunaion
I don’t think it will be hard to find a RW’er to play with 9/53.
IMO Eichel has been way,way off lately and is not at 100% |

ever since he got hurt, he hasn't really been on
strong 2 way RW...it's not a hard thing to acquire, just funny that the giant void last year was LW
