Forward Myles Powell recalled by Amerks. Are there a bunch of Rochester forwards that are injured? Interesting... - Lilroot9
He was recalled because Criscuolo is injured. He's had 39 points in 37 games in Cincinnati. |

There's urgency. All we've heard was that there's mutual interest to get a contract done.. but if that's not the case, they have to ask him to waive. It's a Tavares-esq situation. Islanders got nothing for him. I don't want to be the Islanders. I also don't want to trade him. - TheSabresTaco
We won’t. He’s going to re-sign. I’d bet $$.
There’s no way this franchise lets him walk |

I fully agree.
Theoretically, there's an urgency to figure out his intentions. I'm sure Botts knows where Skinner's head is at, though. |

I do wonder what the ask would be on a player like Parayko. Would Ghule, Nylander and a pick do it? He seems like a perfect target when you take his age and contract into consideration.
Edit; we would need to move some salary out to make it work so it may make sense to do a deal like this after the season ends |

I don't do Twitter, FB, etc., but I'm not sucking up when I say your stuff is infinitely more reed-able and narratively consistent than the hot take machine that is Harrington. - jcragcrumple

if only botts can find someone to take Sobotka off our his hands - Michael Pachla
He’s not actually that bad
Just doesn’t belong in the top9
Sobotka is another Girgs/Larsson
Not that we need 3 of them...
but if we could keep the 3 of them on “line4”
AND
find another line capable of some defensive zone time so that line4 is actually getting line4 minutes...
then we wouldn’t need to move him |

Alrighty, so Risto for Huberdeau is floating around twitter (as a suggestion, not really a rumor)
That’s a great deal.
JH is borderline elite |

The best 4th line we've had this year was:
Girgs-Erod-Pominville imo. It had a bit of everything. If we replace Pommer with Smith for next year, that 4th line is fine with me. But we need a 3C to replace Sobotka. Or a "2b" to split time with Mittelstadt |

Another “playmaker” though
Not saying i wouldn’t want him, but...
-need guys that can finish
-that would leave us with the worst right side defensemen in the entire league
I get that u aren’t a Risto fan
But he can’t be moved without a replacement plan
As good as Huberdeau is,
he’s not Hall
And might not be the best fit for us |

We'd need to do some work to find a suitable replacement for Risto. But that trade would also be elite. In fantasy land. |

The problem with that 4th line is that it leaves Sobotka & Okposo on Line3
Before the StL trade,
I wanted to see a Line4 of
Bailey-E Rod-Baptiste
*i knew they’d never get the chance though |

other than faceoffs, at which he's slightly above 50%, I'm not sure he's brought anything to the table this season |

Right, bc he was mostly in the 3C role
Same way Girgs/Larsson brought very little to the table in previous years when they were being played in the top9 |

I personally don't think we should trade for anyone unless their name is Taylor Hall. Everyone else in this league blows olive salad. |

So fill one hole and open up a huge one on defense. Il pass unless I have an immediate replacement/ upgrade over Risto |

I know Parayko was a popular name out there, but STL isn't a seller anymore. If he moves in the off-season, it's going to cost a roster player ++
