He could of called up the new goalie who they just signed I think, cant remember his name but used to play with philly.

The Russian maybe as well perhaps? We had 4 solid goalies in to star the season and have acquired two more, hard to give Benning a hard time on that one.

If the kid is too fragile to play the sharks for one game as a 20 year old then he probably has no future so who gives a (frank)? He will be fine. He is playing at home and the crowd is managing his feelings well

I fully support sitting vets and calling up AHL'ers, that's what I want. That has nothing, nothing, to do with my opinion on how Benning put himself in a position to have to call up a junior age player to play in the NHL.

It's the equivalent of calling up Tyler Madden and expecting him to play 22 minutes as first line center because Pettersson and Horvat went down. Just not fair to the kid, setting him up to fail.
