This was actually about coaching Einstein

Only in Don Cherry's mind lol. Seriously though, I don't think Green is a bad coach, or a really good one, I just think Trotz is a really good professional coach.

Hes not a bad coach with this team. Hes a very inexperienced coach for sure. When the roster gets better we will see what kind of coach he becomes. I think Baumgartner is a weak leak right now.

Based on what Exactly? Look at the top six defensemen he has at his disposal. Jesus reincarnated as a coach couldn't make that poop osandwich taste good .

If you fail to see the otherside that coaches should be able to help players then there really isnt a point in arguing about this.

I am not much of a Green fan or Brown, Baumgratner for that matter. I see a team that isnā€™t prepared for game action, is atrocious at defending, and extremely predictable with their breakouts as well as there PP. So I would like to see an entire coaching staff change to start next season.

I donā€™t mind Benning overall, and I would be absolutely pissed if they hired Hextall in any capacity. I believe there is a reason that the flyers are on a run of great play, and itā€™s directly because they fired that overrated ego maniac

I am neutral on Green .

I find it hard to blame a person who has to decide who plays tonight Schaller or Goldobin, Biega or Pouliot.

I knew going into this year Canucks were built to get a high draft pick or as Lefty said lose for Hughes. This was suppose to be a transition year so they brought back the same crappy D and did not get into high end signings last year.

I think for most of the year this team has been better than what most people expected.

I would say this is one of the most important years in Canucks history coming up next year . Do I feel good with Benning and Green? Not particularly but I have never been impressed with any Canuck management group.

One thing I will say is I believe they are trending up.

I get a chuckle over making an opinion only to have it dismissed as ā€œa loss to one of the hottest teams in the league and the sky is fallingā€

I have stated my opinion on green for a couple of years, so Iā€™ll try a different method. Can anyone tell me what is the system that Green has them playing? How can a team regularly be outshot for over 10 minutes to START a game be prepared? How can a team that has played 55 games together not know how to make a pass? How is it that every player tries over and over to skate the puck out of the defensive zone and turns it over at a 90% rate. Why does the power play have one set breakout play? Skate to centre ice, turn and pass the puck to the trailing guy, who turns it over.

My only conclusion will be that after next year everyone will be calling for Green to be canned. Iā€™m just ahead on this one..

Send them to the minors then. 4 years at very minor cap hits.

I think very few will care. Until this team gets better someone will get chastised and even then. I agree 100 % about the no system and player selection. I still think the first problem is the talent level. You can't make chicken salad out of chicken sh1t.

Small fries but that's not the point, they shouldn't be in this position in the first place. Flyers claimed McKenna, those (frank)ers, that's where the problems started.

I think they have helped them.... be the very best they can be. Unfortunately due to a rediculously low level of talent and ability , the best that they can be is still absolute dogpoop

Give it to Petersson and cross your fingers.

It was a bad call by Green starting Dipietro last night. Marky didn't appear to have 'tweaked' his groin enough to not play. Yes, our D is very bad right now, but still it was a poor coaching call.

It's a lose lose situation . Green rides Markstrom then in two games people are complaining that Markstrom has played 7 in a row. It's a sh1tty roster what can I say.

Phi sent Elliot to AHL now for conditioning . Trying to force a trade. I would make them pay in the summer with their RFAs
