You always want and play to win. This is not the case. Bottom line you don't want to hurt your only goalie.

By the end of this season, they will be in the bottom 2 or 3 in the West, with a few more teams from the East below them. They are not “above a bubble” team, they are “below a bubble” team, currently.

They have won games they were badly outplayed in thanks to a few great performances.

Improvement? Sure, but I wouldn’t say they have played well all season.

They are a bubble team currently. I was pointing out if you don’t think they’ve played up to their potential than you think they should be better((playoffs!). I was simply pointing that so far they have exceeded my expectations and have played well considering the lineup.

I don't see how it's a bad coaching decision. Why risk your starters health if he's not feeling 100% especially with the other goaltender injuries?
