Others have already mentioned it, but if the Caps are interested in moving Burakovsky, I'd be happy if the Hawks obliged. Seems like we have a top six spot open, and it could balance out the lines a bit. of course it always comes back to "what do we have that they want, but if we are simply making wishlists... - Chunk
Idk, we already gave them Kempny ...
Burakovsky is having a down year, right? Would a change of scenery help him help us? |

I would definitely give a Washington a call and see what it would take to acquire burakovsky. Just image burakovsky then draft kappo good start (pipe dream i know). |

If I’m Stan, I actively try to get rid of AA for a lottery ticket prospect and a mid-level draft pick.
However, I don’t view that money as necessarily savings per se. AA has two years at $4.5M AAV left on his deal.
That’s the exact contract I’d offer Eric Staal this offseason to center the team’s third line next year. He’s bigger, better at the dot, a huge improvement offensively, and he would add another veteran element that the team absolutely needs, especially up front where it’s basically Toews, Kane, and a bunch of young 20 somethings. It’s the kind of veteran addition you make that pay dividends when you’re playing hockey in the late spring. |

Why? Burakovsky has never put up numbers what Kahun is going to produce in just his first year. |

LOL, your comment was much more inquisitive. His "whoopee lets go" post was the more appropriate one to respond to. |

Depth scoring plus he can move up and down in the lineup. Better to have more options than less |

Kunitz without the helmet sort of reminds me of Mr. Mikita.

Every time I manage to watch a pregame ceremony, or even just the anthems, I am reminded how poor our national anthem is down here. We do a lot of things well, but composing a stirring, inspiring anthem is not one of them. |

Considering how often foley has spoken up a player and we then see them fail, I’m thinking him telling us how bad the devils’ goalie has been — last in the league among goalies with 10 or more starts — hawks get shutout tonight. Sure hope I am wrong. |
