Well Gramps, you got me beat by 21, and I'm almost twice as old as some of these posters.

Kinda crazy, at my age it feels like time is flying by, I think back to when I was 26-27 it feels like yesterday in that amount of time I'll be 51 and I cant even imagine that, heck I still feel like a late 20's or early 30-something tho I'm pushing 40. I suppose this next year I'll be getting the black "over the hill" gag gifts, and that is a scary thought because that nonsense is for "old people" and I'm not old...

ward has been outstanding: two games in a row where he has faced over 40 sog's with many high quality chances

the hawks holding any team under 3 takes a monster effort from the goalie

i think they are 14-0-4 when they hold teams to 2 or less in regulation

Agreed on both counts. All you can ask for is compete level and entertainment as a fan. They’ve been providing plenty of entertainment value for the last 6 weeks.

Well, another win for the Hawks. Not pretty but it’s in the win column. Ward super solid... 88, I mean words cannot describe his talent or meaning to the team. If you’re looking for pure meaningfulness to a team, he should be league MVP. Without Kane, the Blackhawks are the worst team in hockey.

As of right now they’re sitting 2 points out. Don’t trade any young assets for temporary help but don’t make any tank deals either. Lots of very winnable games coming up (most at home). Go out and earn your way into the playoffs and grow as a team.

Also very big mention to Saad. That short-handed goal was tremendous! Big time speed, strength and determination. He’s a playoff type hockey player that will excel when the checking tightens up.
