Eberle was even more of a fiasco. Waiving Spooner created a zero return from that trade.

the trade for griffin reinhart is among the worst. when you factor in hall-for-larsson and the russell signing, his brain trust really sucks at identifying defensemen.

If that also meant not signing Lucic as well.

I think Chia (like Rutherford) over-reacted with McDavid getting abused. At least I think that was part of the attraction to Lucic.

Very true! Or even if everything transpired but the properly developed their players. Petry, Yak, Nurse, Puljujarvi. All would look really good soon.
