Fvck!!!!!
Look out!!! The sky is falling, RUN!!!!!
Good lord, get a damn grip.
Botts AND Skinner's agent AGREED NOT TO TALK until mid-January. Reportedly, they spoke during that time and scheduled multiple meetings to get deeper into negotiations.
Just because they are jot updating blow by blow doesn't mean a damn thing.
Relax...it's friggin hockey, a game.

John Wawrow said Skinner was seen with his reps after the game last night. So definitely not radio silence. - Pegullaville
it's really down to number of years
skinner camp really wants 7 or 8, really wants 8
botts has offers for 5 years, 6 years, 7 years and 8 years on the table
he wants to stay here, it's just a question of how many years and if a verbal is ironed out for 8 years, we are not gonna hear much for a few weeks
but................
he loves it here
he wants to stay here
botts wants him
so make of it what you will, but I am told on a scale of 1 to 100, 99% chance it gets done |

Skinner had more points than Staal 1 year out of the 6 they played together, the last year Staal was in Carolina.
Skinner: 267 points in 418 games
Staal: 347 points in 430 games
Staal was on the downside of his career and was still better. Like I said, criminally underrated.
Your move. - Wetbandit1

Flacco had the best 3rd and short conversion rate in the NFL last year at 87.5%. Phillip Lindsay amd Royce Freeman are going to be a great 1-2 combo in the backfield. Establish the run, dink and dunk down the field, take the shot down field when you can. Defenses have to respect Flacco’s ability to beat them deep so they can’t stack the box. If the Broncos average 23 points a game next year they win 10 games. Flacco’s job will be to not turn the ball over and just be efficient. - Pegullaville
What about his 2nd and medium going against the wind? Bottom line is they have to get past the Chargers or the Chiefs to get into the playoffs, and I don't see that happening. If you think allowing 57 points to the Chiefs in 2 games while scoring less than the average allowed by the Chiefs somehow constitutes success then more power to you. |

Ennnnt, not the same. Flacco was exceptional in that playoff run. PTPer.
That was 6 years or so ago and Denver plays in the AFC West so Pegullaville might want to temper expectations a bit.
Other than that, thinking I’m liking DK Metcalf at #9 and would like to personally thank Kyler Murray for choosing football over baseball. - Hatboro_Swords
I'm thinking Murray makes our pick more tradeable.
Imagine a team really wanting him- maybe you call the team at #9.
They have their franchise qb
Thank him for me too |

Both LeBrun and Dreger back this too. I don't know why the fvck people are getting their panties so bunched up over this. He wants a "career contract"....which most likely means 8 years. If it gets us ONE cup, I don't GAF about what the reprecussions of that contract are later.

colts, who else
the other division, would not shock me if any of the 4 teams are under .500 including pitts and baltimore |

Keenum will be released, cut, or will be taking a discount. Unless Chris Harris Jr got traded to the Bills you’re wrong on that one too. Justin simmons is a really good young safety and Bradley Roby is better then whoever your #2 is.
We held the Rams to 23 points (lost by 3) lost to the Chiefs twice 27-23 (Keenum hits a wide open DT they win), and 30-23 at Arrowhead another one score game. McManus misses a field goal or else we beat the Texans in a game we lost 19-17. That’s also with Vance Joseph who I wouldn’t want coaching a pop warner football team. The Broncos are much more talented then their record showed. We also derailed Pittsburgh’s playoff hopes holding them to 17 points and beat the Chargers 23-22 holding them to 22 points.
If Flacco is average this team is back in the playoffs next year and Chubb/Von will both be in the top 5 in sacks in the league next year. - Pegullaville
That's grest.
Like you said if flacco is average.
Kinda like the 16th best QB in the nfl?
Flacco is not close to 16th.

Flacco is the worst QB in that division. Carr has a higher TD%, lower INT%, more YPG and a higher rating over his career than Flacco does over his. - Wetbandit1
Rivers will take a huge step back next year, and the Raiders aren't even a sniff away from the playoffs. Carr was dreadful last season, too.
I can honestly see the Broncos winning their division next year if their defense is top-5. |

With average QB play we beat the Chiefs in both those games. That’s the point I’m trying to make. Every year is a new year. The Broncos would have to go 4-2 in the Division to have a chance but I think the Broncos can surprise a lot of teams next year depending on how the rest of the offseason goes. |

The Texans were really good, the Titans were surprising and will only get better. The North is the Wildcard, no pun intended, The Steelers will be back to a 10, 11 win team, the Browns could surprise(that was very hard to type, but they were very good after getting rid of Jackson). Being the default 3rd team in a division is going to be tough. Hell being the default 2nd team is hard enough. |

Only teams that I even thought about were Texans and whoever finishes 2nd between BAL/CLE/PIT. Might be able to throw one of the Bills/Jets in there but until I see it with my own eyes they don’t scare me. Bills are definitely on the right track though and I think they have a bright future. |

I never said the Raiders were going to be good, just that Carr is better and if 4000 yards is dreadful, sign me up. I already laid out that he beats Flacco in every major category.
What could possibly make you think Rivers takes a huge step back? I'd be more worried about the Chargers defense, that's always been their Achilles heel when they don't do well. Rivers has had like one bad season his entire career and still threw for 26 TDs. Flacco's only done that once(27) 5 years ago. |

Steelers are imploding. Ben sucks. Bell and Brown are out the door. Marcus Mariota still plays QB for the Titans so no problems there. Texans will be good and are a threat but could lose Clowney which will hurt. Cleveland/Baltimore is who I’m worried about. Be interesting to see how the Ravens do with a full season of Lamar with teams having a full offseason to prepare for the read option. |
