Please tell me Grabner is not out with the eye injury he suffered against the blues last time

He's retired from the NHL to join the cast of Hook on Broadway. (Yeah I recycled that joke, so what?)

This is psychotic haha Make Mordor great again or what? I guess it's true what they say - there were some good people on both sides at Comicon.

Where did the Elves even go in Lord of the Rings and why didn't they help more in the Battle of Gondor?
They felt their time was done and it was time to leave the lands for their eternity island thing.

Also, where were the other Dwarves?
The dwarves were blocked in the Lonley Mountain by a force of evil humanoids. "At the same time as the great armies besieged Minas Tirith a host of the allies of Sauron that had long threatened the borders of King Brand crossed the River Carnen, and Brand was driven back to Dale. There he had the aid of the Dwarves of Erebor; and there was a great battle at the Mountain’s feet. It lasted three days, but in the end both King Brand and King Dáin Ironfoot were slain, and the Easterlings had the victory. But they could not take the Gate, and many, both Dwarves and Men, took refuge in Erebor, and there withstood a siege."

Yes, I'm a geek. No, I'm not apologizing for it.

It's mentioned in Appendix A "Durin's Folk" in Return of the King.
