Adding a Top 4 defender, if they can without subtracting a roster player, changes the look of this team quite a bit. Hide Seabs on pair 3 and improved defensive play for 20-25 minutes that the new guy is on the ice.

Yeah, they kill it together especially in the playoffs. But I've seen the fancy stats aren't great. I think it's because lack/not alot of depth before 2011, 2012, 2014, and the opposing team were able to key in quite effectively.

Honestly we should have won in 2014 I was at the Kings game and the team became spectators not playing to lose. And Puck luck sux when it's against you.

IMO, a team with a 30-15-15 record is .500. 30 wins and 30 losses

Actually going to OT in the regular season isn't really 'hockey' -anyways ... it has screwed up the points model for the standings.

.500 is 82 points no matter how you get there. Your record is basically 60 games, 30 wins and 15 ties or 75 points -- whereas 60 would be .500. What you got there with 30-15-15 is a .625 winning percentage.

We all know anything can happen if you get to the dance. (Won't bring up the Kings as everyone does) They were on fire that year and momentum and rollied into the playoffs. Hawks in 2012 almost beat the Nucks too.

Long story longer, I used to believe I was cursed going to games. In 2010 I went to game 1 and trashville beat us and I sold all my tix for the next 2 rounds. Every game. In 2009 made every one and swore to my wife we were winning in 2010 and then blowing up the team. I happily collected my $1 from her!

But, I've been absolved and was at game 6 to raise the cup on home ice. Not to mention made every game round 3 and 4 in 2010. 2011, 2012, 2013 2014 2015 every one. and 2 on other ice.

Good, tough right now as they're all master level. Just got to get through this semester of 3 classes (more teaching responsibilities and meetings), 1 class over the summer, and I student teach in the fall. High school 11th grade English. I'm pretty freakin' excited!

Juniors are tough. Just promise me you bring some humor into the classroom. Do some Monthy Python records (do you even know what a record is? lol) This was the only way I paid attention in HS. It lightens the mood and makes learning fun. Plus plenty of edumacation there.
