He's signed for 3million a year so how is your proposal more? - GPHawksfan
oops...good catch...
i would not give him a NMC; it would be difficult to get him for less than his current deal

His skating is terrible, wayyyt slower than Connor Murphy and Dylan Strome and it doesn’t allow him to do much with the NHL pace. I watch Edmonton fairly often as the late game and just to watch McJesus. Agree with elbows, Forsling/Perlini is all he’s worth. Maybe throw in a 4th round pick - EnzoD
I don't doubt you're analysis. It is very different from his bio on Eliteprospects:
Puljujärvi is a big winger who combines size, skating and skill. A strong skater who can blast past the opposition in full speed. Able to use his size, reach and stickhandling skills to retain the puck in speed. A smart player at both ends of the ice, both on and off the puck. Great work ethic and positive attitude. More of a playmaker than a scorer and could improve his shooting skills, although already equipped with an accurate release. Doesn't shy away from physical play, but could use his size more to his benefit. (EP 2016)
If all it costs is what you suggested then I say go for it. Forsling looks like he has no home here and Perlini plays like a bigger version of Fortin, lotsa fast skating and not much else. |

I think it is going to be up to Ward, if he wants to play, the Hawks will sign him, if CC can play, Delia's contract can be fully buried if he goes to Rockford

I would do Forsling, Forsberg, Oilers need a goaltender, Talbot is a UFA, and they are trying to unload him at the TDL. |

He’s a great buy super low guy for a top 5 pick with good size and shot. You put him with Kane and Toews and maybe it’s a home run?? but He does virtually nothing every game I’ve watched Edmonton play and has been given Top 6 opportunities...but been very ineffective and then gets pushed down to bottom 6 minutes.

I've seen enough of Forsling and Dahlstrom. Both are not good, and both belong in Rockford. You wanna be serious about making the playoffs? Then Joki needs to be here instead of these 2 clowns. Forsling is afraid of his own shadow, and all Murphy does now is try to cover up all of Dahlstroms mistakes. How he is here and Joki is in the minors is a joke. - SaadBeast
Probably to keep his total number of games in the nhl down (70 ibeleive to two previous years) so they aren’t forced to expose him to Seattle |

I would trade AA to Carolina for a draft pick. We need to get his cap space to sign one or two good players in free agency. That said, I believe he has some type of partial no move/no trade clause. Is that right? Like he can either only provide ten teams he wants to get traded to or provide ten teams he does not want to get traded to. - onehundredlevel
Would the hawks be better off waiting until he summer to trade him? He’d lose his partial ntc and if the hawks traded him after the bonus was paid he may have more people willing |

His lack of hockey IQ is huge red flag. But he is still young and might develop into decent top 9 forward. I highly doubt he will ever be the player everyone thought when he was junior. |

But read now that Philly wants Talbot, and are offering Elliot, but the Oil want Stolarz, so if that happens, then thy Oilers wouldn't want Forsberg.

Caggiula-Toews-Kane
DeBrincat-Strome-Kahun
Saad-Anisimov-Puljujärvi

Nah. Its a 1 for 1 deal. Bust for bust. Perlini for Poolparty. Any more and its a waste of an asset. |

We already gave them Manning
- LAHawk
And Caggiula has been pretty good for us, but unfortunately for the rest of the league ChiaPet is no longer there.

Look at us go. In 30 minutes we've managed to generate a fair trade offer. Kinda makes you wonder what the heck Stan Bowman actually does. |

There is no reason to sign Ward again. Fine, he has had a nice stretch of games but this is his pattern. He will play well for a bit but will revert back to his career norms. |

17 & 91. Enough said. I would take a flyer on him if it doesn't cost a ton. Just my opinion.

Dominant player in the World Juniors at 17 or 18 and now he stinks? Has something to do with the Oilers I think. Stan should do that deal in a heartbeat. |

If the Hawks can move him at the TDL, they should do it then. Why wait at all? Move him and his contract so that frees guaranteed money up to use this summer. I like Anisimov, but I do not see him being with this team the next time they are legitimate contenders. Just my opinion.

There are a long line of guys who have played well at the WJC and never amounted to anything.
He has seen time with McDavid and Drasaitl and hasn't produced. Shoving with Toews and Kane won't help. IMO. |

If you want to take risk with Puljujärvi you have to give more than Perlini to get it done. Sikura is nice asset to have but I just don´t see him being part of the group going forward. At least get there where Bowman wants this team to be in 18-24 months. Yes, you might have the same case with Puljujärvi also..
