there are reports out there that craw states he is ready for game action...good news and very for him...

so it up to JC to see when he gets back between the pipes

from the perspective of the schedule there is no compelling reason for yay or nay in any of the upcoming games. They play every other day for the next 8 days with quick travel to detroit the only road game.

Lets assume AA Forsling are going to be packaged in deal both have value in thier own way. The teams most likely hawks would trade with would be that needa a big center and young d man with upside and potential to me a lot but to narrow it down here are a few I think:
Columbus
Carolina
Calgary
N.y. Isalanders
Montreal
Winnipeg
Buffalo
So what would the hawks want in a trade from each of these teams. Maybe picks and prospects from the hawks to expand a trade could be added to beyond AA and forsling.

If they are selling, typically trade returns are better at the deadline as teams have pressure to “win now”....see basically every deadline trade made by StanBo from 2011-15 as proof. Two second round picks for 40 year old Kimmo!

Thank you, Minny! I don't see them or Dallas getting that W2 spot. They are losing at the wrong time. How much longer until Cal gets a goaltender they can lean on? They've been streaky of late.

I think Anisimov gets traded after July 1st and his signing bonus is paid. Otherwise you could be right.

Devils feed didn’t show Porky Pig during the meltdown. Hischier was excellent.

I think Dallas is a better team than COL, MN, & Vancouver. I predict STL locks down 3rd in Central and its a close battle for 7th & 8th the rest of the season between Hawks, Wild, Stars, Avs, Nucks. Edmonton is bad again, Ducks are worse, and the Yotes are the Yotes....Kings worst in the West and will tank more by trading Kovalchuk.

Talk about a group of mediocre teams in CHI, MN, DAL, VAN & CO lol. Be lucky if any of the wild cards win 2 games in round 1 out West

Agree with you on the Blows. It is a sad bunch, but I'll go with Chi and Van taking the last 2 spots.

Yep - strange. They have Hart who is probably going to come in 2nd to Pettersson for ROY.

While Jets, Flames or Preds sell the entire farm for Stone, watch San Jose snag Simmonds or Panarin for less. Doug Wilson is all in this year with Erik Karlsson’s future uncertain. Hope the Sharks win it all, I like Thornton and Burns a lot.
