I posted their PPG last night. Matthews was on a 98 point pace and Eichel was on a 94. So Matthews is 4 points better then a Eichel and plays on a team with twice the talent and four times the PP arsenal. You put more merit into goals, perfectly understandable. I watch both on a consistent basis and even the leaf buddies I have would take Eichel over Matthews.

Good chance they have been in the league for a few more years too. Teams that are more established. This younger generation of players from the past 10 years is way more talented earlier than seasons 10-30 years ago.
