Agree it's just so much harder to score now but when you have 543 goals your first eight seasons, 632 games, including 50 in 39 you're simply the best.

Bossy had 473 goals in 609 games his first eight years. Same era.

Ovechkin had 371 goals in 601 games his first eight seasons.
