Well then who do you think is better?
Please elaborate. |

Stone, 5-4. Insanity! - I Am The Breadman
It’s insane how bad both teams are defensively! Once again 2 Hawks Dmen on the boards on the same side of the ice and the slot is wide open! (frank) THE MAN TO MAN! It’s garvage! |

Only giving up 2 goals in 2 periods is the equivalent of shutting the door in this game - LAHawk
Good point. I gotta laugh at Edzo saying good defensive play. |
|
|

Are hawks fans laughing at this as much as sens fans? These might be the worst defensive game in nhl history. Feels like I’m watching my Wednesday night beer league. |

this a period you save the tape and pull it out for all those young hockey players and show them what pss poor defense looks like...this is an embarassment |

Don’t mean to interject but off the top of my head.....better shot than Kane....,OV, Laine, Stamkos, Hoffman, Matthews.
Kane, IMO, has the silkiest hands in the league, and has a good shot, but definitely not the best. |

Also, tonight is a great example of what happens when you have too much youth in your backend:
Chabot (22)
Ceci (25)
Harpur (24)
Jaros (22)
Lajoie (21)
DeMelo (25)
Consistent breakdowns.
This is EXACTLY why d-men should be matriculated down when they are ready and not be rushed into action just because they're highly touted or the team needs help.
Boqvist, Beaudin, Mitchell, etc. have absolutely no business being in the NHL next season. Boqvist needs another year in Ontario; and Mitchell (possibly Beaudin) will hopefully see next season in Rockford.
For the 'Hawks to take that next step next season, they will absolutely need veteran stability in the back. Would absolutely expect that to be first priority for Stan and Co. this offseason. |

Yeah, unlike the 11 posts per blog we get, it’s a bit harder to scroll through your 500 posts. Haha |

I do not care what other people have to say:
The FACT of the matter is - Patrick Kane is the best shooter in the NHL. And quite frankly folks, I don't think it's even close. - TommyHawk
I think he has stepped his game up this year. Think he is the most dynamic in the game. When he has the puck on his stick on the Ozone, everyone has to focus on him. He looks so poised and confident...like you almost see time slowing down for him, as they say

And Saad for some strange reason vacates the middle of the ice because he's guessing it's going to be passed along the boards, (frank)ing lost |

By all means thanks for the input. To be honest all those listed above are just plain lethal. There's a good chance that any of them will light the lamp 🚨🚨🚨 |
