I didnt. I leave it alone for the most part in the early off-season. Should be a good year. I'm interested to see how leclerc does driving for maranello. - TheHank
Me too, I generally only read what actually makes it through to the mainstream and not even all of that. They were talking about giving Vettel "priority". Did they not do that when Kimi was there? I thought that was a bit of an odd statement to make. Maybe I missed some of the context because those are the only 2 articles I've read this offseason. Well, that and some of the car reveals, but none of those had any team info. |

I’ve bought two tickets the last three years.... and no merchandise. So they aren’t getting rich off me, it’s you other suckers.

Fitz/Anyone else who were offended by my comment yesterday,
I’m sorry for saying it. I’m not in your shoes and shouldn’t have degraded what it takes for you to make a living. Have a good day. |

He a good player.... he’s not top 10.. can he get there, hopefully someday we find out. Still the best player currently on the Sabres, by far.
I’m hoping Dahlin turns into our franchise player though.. |

Dahlin will absolutely be our best player, and that’s no slight on Eichel.
I think Eichel is around the 7th-10th best center in the game |

8. Buffalo Sabres — C Casey Mittelstadt. A very heady and skilled player at both ends. Operates on a different level from the rest of his teammates, both at the high school and USHL levels, but when working with other high hockey IQ guys on his wing during international events, he demonstrates superior skills and thought processes. Able to read off creative linemates and move instinctively to open ice, creating dangerous chances constantly. He’s got an explosive stride with an effortless shot release. We love his competitive fire. Likes to carry the puck and gains the offensive zone easily, backing defenders off the blue line. Has continued to round out his game in a gradual build-up, getting incrementally bigger, stronger and faster each of the past three seasons. Thick build and deceptively strong. Needs to move his feet more — it’s so easy for him to dominate at high school level that he picked up some lazy footwork habits.
All reads true today. Not sure why we don’t try him on top line with Jack to get his confidence going |

No, but you DO have to have it to own any professional franchise. 👍
We're not the only franchise (Bills/Sabres) to have never won a championship, but some on here act like it. |

Interesting little blurb I would say it’s very accurate... would love to see Casey work on his skating this off season, still think he has the potential to be an outstanding player for us, he just wasn’t ready this year.

He is developing and gradually improving his all around game. He needs to take the next step offensively though, this team needs more scoring and he is a key cog to generate it for himself and linemates.
The statement about being strong, oh boy...that should be deleted |

This may be true but it doesn't mean fans need to stop demanding it.
Who cares about other franchises not winning a championship? We don't root for those franchisrs, and I'm sure those franchise fanbases are just as vocal.
That list has too be few and far between.
Furthermore, Pegula's track record sucks and they have fumbled the ball multiple times with each franchise.
Until they win, their record deserves to be ridiculed. |

I never disputed these or any similar statements.
All I'm saying is, there are "fans" who act like children when it comes to "demanding" their teams (insert demand here), and many of these (insert demands here) are unrealistic given any set of circumstances at any given time.
And then you have the "intelligent" Sabres fans.
I just read an article the other day from some Sabres site listing 5 or 6 players the Sabres should go after at the deadline. 3 of them were Ufas to be. Ferland, Silfverberg, Hayes, etc. and then one trade target was Pesce from Carolina. Really? They're going to trade him to Buffalo, a team they're battling?
Why?
And the trade chips this "writer" suggested? Jason Pominville, Kyle Okposo, Vladimir Sobotka, and Nathan Beaulieu.
Are you (frank)ing kidding me?
These are the "intelligent fans" that our supposed "terrible owners" need to listen to?
It's a cesspool of morons out there. |

NHL - Blues, Preds, Sens, VGK, Canucks, Sharks, Sabres
NFL - Bengals, Bills, Browns, Cards, Chargers, Falcons, Jags, Lions, Panthers, Texans, Titans, Vikes
So 7 of 31 NHL team have not won..about 28%...and 1 of those teams is 1-3/4 years old and played in a cup final. |

If he didn’t get injured people wouldn’t question him and we still be in the playoff race |

Trade chips, more like I’ll pay you to take these guys. Beaulieu may have a very small trade value. 4th or 5th at the deadline for a team looking for depth for a run. Pommer might get you a 5th as well |

We're all passionate, I'll give you that. None are more so than a "Buffalo fan".
And we're never going to agree on everything.
The Pegulas are "young" owners. They're learning. Unfortunately, it comes at the expense of yet another season without the playoffs. We also could have lost both of our teams. There are a TON of moving parts, and even more trust that goes out that the people you hire to do a job are doing it, when you own a franchise.
I don't, for one minute, think the sole reason they're in this is to make oodles of money.
