He’s been awake the whole time, hence why he didn’t panic and make a move to maintain our playoff relevance. Tank on !

Better then being Doug Armstrong striving for mediocrity.

Erroneous! Erroneous on both counts. My career isn’t as lucrative as a professional loser in life’s, i mean bartender’s.

Lol!!!!! My bad, I need to be more patient. Botts gets to operate on a different timeline. Kudos to him. He really is a genius.

Hopefully we can avoid taking on salary by trading now:

Hayes
Marcus Jo
Anders Lee
Silfverberg
Brock Nelson
Nyquist
Eberle
Dzingel
Simmonds
Donskoi
Ferland

Even if we never talk to the Stone's, Panarin's or Duchene's of the summer...there's a lot to be had this year at forward. Also could bring back Myers for RHD help *hides*

GMTM was fired for a reason, give it a break. Botts has drafted two top 5 prospects leage wide according to experts this past offseason (Dahlin and Mittelstadt) He also assembled quite the staff. Steve Greeley is well respected league wide and has already interviewed for GM jobs twice.

If GMTM would have held off making major moves for one more year instead of trading for ROR, he’d still probably be here. But instead the cart came before the horse with that guy. What would we do without that glorious Kyle Okposo signing. Teams are built through the draft not through free agency signings and trades.

It’s anazing because he was part of a staff that drafted Hoffman, Stone, Karlsson, Zibanijad yet instead of being patient he rushed a rebuild and every pick he ended up making was a flop apart from possibly Olofsson.

He had 20 points in the 1st 32 games that season with 10pts (5g and 5 a) either being assisted by or assisted to Vanek and Pommer. As soon as Lindy took him off the line he did nada, pointless in his last 20 games that season.
- dadeadhead

if I remember correctly, adam was taken off of that line because he was really bad at the hockey...those first 10 games or so he looked legit but once teams figured him out, which wasn't very difficult to do, he faded into oblivion

Because of Tim Murray and his awfulness, Botterill shouldn’t trade any picks because we will never get any others ever again.

How many AHL player of the years did the Sabres have in a row.

Good thing we had all those prospects, they all turn out to be Kucherov. All of them.

anders lee would be a great p/u...unfortunately he may not want to leave the islanders and if he does, he'll probably be end up getting some $6-7 which might be high for a 29 yr. old

Once again until I see a player traded that was worth a 1st rounder I’ll let you know. Or were you really pining for Muzzin ? Nino was traded to Carolina because they had a young Centre they coveted. Who is our 22-23 year old Centre that we were going to trade for Nino ? Unless your giving Mittelstadt away for a winger that you could find similar production for in FA in a couple of months.

it was three and adam was one of them...he didn't seem to have the tools to make adjustments when teams figured him out...same goes with most young players, pilut being the most recent case
