Chicago is on their way. And Kane is why.

Points in the last 5 games

Kuch: 18
Kane: 11
McD: 5

- CoHo_to_B-Lo

Okay so what's your point ? How many does he have in the last 5.

There is no reason for this

And you guys wonder why we keep a lot of what we hear to the vest.

He as a fan has every right to say what he thinks.
Just like you can say what you want about player a, b, and c

No reason to give him a personal attack

Shame on you and all that respond

I think I speak for 99% of the posters on here when I say that ANY information that you and the God of Thunder share with the rest of us is most welcome and very interesting. Thank you, as always.

That's only reason i Joined the site... I just don't know why 89 is all over Eichle. Risto is much bigger problem

Housley should convert risto into the number one right winger. What does he have to lose at this Point.

A late conditional 1st based on re-signing (EKane) makes perfect sense. He's on a 60+ point pace.
- TheSabresTaco

Rather trade for mark stone I would gladly give up a first

But botts already said he’s not moving the first’s So it’s basically a pipe dream

I imagine costs would be quite different. I think we all want Matt Duchene and Mark Stone. Just trying to be realistic.

You left out the part where he said "..for rentals"

A "hockey trade" is far different than Steve Bernier or Zubrus.

FINALLY. This is as good as this roster can look.
- Angler

You aren't getting Stone for a conditional 1st. He's a 1st ++ as a rental.

Nothing new, but Pagnotta says Duchene will all but be traded by Monday. Trade-And-Sign a big possibility. Would net the Sens a great package.

In case this wasn't discussed earlier, why is this still a thing. Botterill is hoarding below average defensemen.

No $h!+ ... the 1st would have conditions if he signs or not.

I understand I’m just hoping we don’t do anything that moves a first or more at the deadline and keep on building

I'd personally like to use a 1st on a now, long term piece, and use the other 2 on the draft. Improve now, improve later. Cause those 3 players are at least 2 years from helping, lest we win the lottery. This team simply can't continue to suck for years.

Just my opinion.

The player I would try for is patrik laine his value is still high but I’m sure the jets are having second thoughts on giving him the big contract and he might be available .

We all remember when we almost got OV maybe this time we can actually process the trade right lol

I'm fine with that approach, it's just more likely as an off-season move.

That Forsberg trade still makes me nauseous.

Laine is having such an odd season, and it really doesn't appear that WPG favors him. He was invisible vs the Sabres, and it was and has been widely commented on. He kinda sounds like an NHL version of today's AN.

Perhaps. There might be some serious outrage if Botts sits on his hands during the TDL. Not that it's his problem. Maybe Pegula urges him to get something done to improve the team (long term)

I’m thinking we make a trade for Burakovsky or Puljujarvi with my boy nylander going

Good long term moves are just so rare at the deadline. We want a seller to trade us the kind of guy they should have no interest in moving.
