Housley either set himself up to fail or they set him up to fail.

Chris Hajt has zero business being on an NHL coaching staff.

If I were Skinner, there is no way that I would resign here. He has done enough this season to get 8 large or more from a lot of teams.

I think most posters here acknowledge tne 10 game streak wasnt sustainable and not a true reflection of what the team was, myself included.
I thought at the time, the young on the roster were learning some important lessons, that hard work and never give up yield success and therefore would pay dividends down the road. I thought the young core would gel and take some steps towards becoming effective leaders.
I thought they would transition away from being bottom feeders.

My current line of thinking is evelving to one that questions the young core...maybe that rift in the locker room between vets and the youthful we heard rumors of ... well, maybe the youthful are a major part of the problem? I see a team that continues to make the same mistakes over, and over again...it is simply NOT improving. Passes in skates, lack of effective backchecks, losing players in front of the net, system breakdowns, etc. And, the skill level to score of most, save 4 or 5 is lacking.

Maybe the young core will solidify and lead the team to greatness...I am starting to believe they may not have the right guys.

I feel awful for Okposo.. guy should have never been put int that position to begin with. First the hit from behind was NOTHING. Second one of his lame ass teammates should of stepped in and stopped it before it started. 3 concussion in 3 years and 1 with serious side affects. Okposo has no business fighting. It just shows that this team plays with no heart.

I could care less about the team being shatty, but to leave a vet player out to defend himself against a younger tougher player that has been in more fights in a short career then okposo has been in his entire career is gutless.

Just my opinion.

It was totally Okposo’s choice. Nobody was left out to defend for themselves. Okposo wanted to fight and he got one.
