LaFontaine? Are you f’n kidding me? The guy literally cuts and runs from every management position he’s held with a team. He hired Tim Murray and left us with the idiot that literally destroyed the franchise.

The win streak was great, but aside from the Flyer game, they never came out and dominated any of the other 9 games

The other reality is paying big dollars to only the best, like Eichel, and having cap flexibility with the rest, which means not locking a ton of players up to long term deals.
