Both Joki and Beaudin are a full year older and should be further along in their development. Boqvist was one of the youngest in his draft class and is still growing.

I have seen a few accounts saying that Boqvist has made strides defensively. He made need another year in juniors or the AHL but that is pretty much what the thinking was when he was drafted. So he appears to be progressing as expected.

Also, our guy Philco just gave a pretty good scouting report on him after watching him live. Phil's not a easy grader. I'll wait quite awhile on Boqvist.
