Interesting, both are having goaltender issues right now.

I watch Hawks games on mute when Foley is broadcasting.

I want to watch hockey and have professionals point out things I miss, not hear about shout outs, or birthdays, or his tiresome stiche. Pre Rocky Wirtz was never this bad, but its all grab @ss all the time in that booth now under the McDonough regime like it was for Cubs games for decades. Dumbs down the fan base.

That's why it's always a treat to see Eddie O away from him calling Hawks games nationally. He's a great color guy....great hockey mind.....

Anyone who may take a stance winds up disappearing off the broadcasts. Part of why I hate when Konroyd is on the broadcast. So Milquetoast. Never has an opinion about anything. Guy played 15 years in the NHL and offers nothing in terms of insight.

I am with you......it's fascinating to watch a game on mute. Takes a game or two to get going, but Im Foley free. I don't want to throw my controller hearing grab @ss during a stoppage, or the non-stop defense of Duncan Keith when he screws up followed by pointing out anything he does....

Seriously, I have never seen a love affair like this. when his played dropped down in 2010 he brought up unprovoked the wrong skates Keith was skating in. OR would bash Karlsson unprovoked when he was getting NOrris accolades.

If Keith has a lady friend, I'd be concerned about Foley's unhealthy relationship with Duncan.

Uh....you need to be updated. he was arrested this morning. Just got his bail set at 100K. Chicago top cop announced they have check he gave brothers, letter was fake, attack was fake, have cell records of him calling brothers 1 hour before attack, and then when they were in Nigeria.

So yeah....he was arrested, and yes.....a top cop isn't going to go out in the media and clast a guy unless he's 100% sure the guy has a chance to walk.

Covington highschool….they sued media circuits for 250 million for defamation after again....wait for it.....jumping the gun early.

Your comment about those on the left apologizing for him was uncalled for and untrue - your comment about media jumping to conclusions was also uncalled for - the media in every case would (or should) refer to "alleged" incidents.

They did jump the gun in the case of the high school students and the Native American in DC - AND the Post, Times, and others who jumped the gun there admitted it and apologized after more information came out. They were wrong to jump on it early - but - unlike right wing outlets like Fox, the President, and others - did make amends and correct.

Please show me where they made amends, and I can blow up this page showing non stop posts on social media from Pelosi to Robin Roberts to talking heads on talk shows defending Jussie righ toff the bat and drawing asinine conclusions to the President. IF the left did make amends pretty sure hose kids wouldn't be pushing such a legal angle....but it doesn't fit the narrative of gun control so they won't be cherished and paraded around.

I'll usually stream the game on my laptop with the mute on while the wife watches "My 660 Lb. Life" or "Doctor Pimple Popper". You (I) could grab the the opposing team play-by play or the radio broadcast.

If you have a DVR you could probably get the TV to sync the radio broadcast with a little manipulation.
