Flyers are bound to pass us, Florida looks primed for their late season run to mediocrity, Avs/Hawks/Wild/Nucks are all battling for that last playoff spot. Arizona isn’t too far behind. Sabres can easily fall into the bottom 10. Tank on !

If there is a trade to be make in the offseason that brings in a young RHD or another Centre then SJS puck could be up for grabs plus Nylander and Guhle. I’d defintely use 2/3 picks though. We are still set up very well long term. Tough selling patience to a fan base that has suffered for 40 + years but it’s all we have.

I make one Helen Keller reference and I get jumped by 3 people. Life is life. Doesn’t bother me. The only reason I puff my chest on these boards is becuase im right 85% of the time and people mock my opinion constantly. Maybe it’s because I’m younger then most and the gentlemans club looks out for its own.

Good stuff ! I hope Botts pulls the trigger. I’d like to keep McCabe over Scandella but I feel both players are gone at some point with the likes of Pilut/Samuelsson and a cheap UFA or Hunwick that can play 3rd pairing minutes.

I think the Sabres can certainly live without all these players. Although losing Gus’ breakaway prowess will hurt a bit.
