Actually Ryan has been friggin invaluable this last stretch. I like the signing, term & $$$$, it's giving us a lot of strength in the bottom 6. Wins faceoffs, great on PK & has been getting points of late. Takes guys time to fit into roles. Just saying, why so negative on Ryan?

Have no problem adding Zuc for the right price, in fact I would like the move.
Ryan is our 4th line center and one of the best 4th line centers in the league at that.
Ryan would play on almost every teams top 3 lines the way he has played in 2019!

Old Bob is also saying 2 firsts and 2 very good prospects is Ottawa's asking price for Stone. I love Stone but not at that price. Too many other 1B options out there that can help us to even consider that deal.

It doesn't really matter what the asking price is. They'd be stupid not to have a ridiculous asking price. It doesn't make a lot of sense to start the negotiations saying they want a 1st and a decent prospect.

The Flames should focus 100% of their efforts on bringing him in for the sole reason that it adds an epic storyline to the inevitable Flames-Sharks matchup.

In the real world, he's probably not worth what it would cost to get him. Unless they'd do a one for one for Brodie.

Also still chuckle that people here thought Bennett for Hoffman straight up was a bad deal last year when Ottawa made him available. Love Benny's grit, but our 2nd line would be unreal with Hoffman alongside Backs and Chucky. Given what SJ eventually gave up to acquire him, we could have dealt Frolik straight up in the off-season and kept Bennett for the 3rd line... what could have been... lol

He's fine, but he wouldn't fit on the Flames second line. Putting him out against the other team's best every night would be a disaster. I was all for bringing in Hoffman before they got Lindholm, but now he's not the ideal fit.

They're also going to be looking for a return similar to what the big three should get since he has a year left. I also don't think the Flames should be adding another 5 million to next year's payroll.

Following that story, as unfortunate as it sounds given the circumstances, there is still no evidence that the Hoffman's did anything... unfortunate if true that a potentially innocent guy was crucified... and crucified for something is fiancee is accused of, not even himself...

Doubt he's a locker room issue, if he was, he wouldn't be crushing it in FLA.
