I think Nylander has the potential to be close to a PPG player. Maybe not consistantly but him getting 80+ points once or a few times is definetely a possibility.

I also think he's a complete wussy that needs people to do the dirty work for him to be effective.... and I have no faith in his ability to thrive in the playoffs because of it. (Pacioretty had the same problem)

But that's just me.

He's not that type of player. Does it matter? Not every player can be like that.

He is showing a better effort in the corners and with physical battles as of late.

Matt Duchene is 28, in his 10th season.. has play 8 total playoff games..is going to a team currently out of the playoffs.

You and I both know there would not have been those struggles if he didn't miss training camp/preseason and 2 months of the season. The stats are irrelevant.(He's also been playing very few minutes which would not have occurred)

Actually we dont know that. Hes gone through stretches of no points, like most players.
But stats arent irrelevant.
As long as he continues to produce in the playoffs, that really matters.
