That was quite the run!

But I agree with you, for this year, I hope MB stands pat(h) too, there's seemingly nothing worth selling the future for in this team's case

Same here ... we're not contenders yet so there's no reason to deplete our bank of prospects and picks.

Personally I like the gear but I'm still not a fan of baseball lol

Maybe it would pique my interest a bit if the expos came back...

The game is fun to play but watching it on TV ... not so much (for me anyways).

The game is so slow that I'm usually asleep by the 3rd inning. Great if you want to catch up on some ZZZ's.

Exactly, I don't mind playing it either, but with 731 games a year, it gets tiring

Maybe. I don't see him staying in Ottawa now.

I just wonder if there will be anything left to talk about on deadline day.

There usually isn't, most times the bigger names get moved on the days leading up to the deadline... and yes, Ottawa would be stupid to hang on to him.... but then again, with their GM's track record with trades....

The list is interesting now, but once Stone is gone....

What's your take on a guy like Adam Henrique? He has a few seasons left. I would rather get a LHD or wait untill july first, but his name is out there.

Quiet about Getzlaf or their defensemen.

Yeah, Henrique is interesting because he's got some term left... You think Jeff Carter would agree to come to Montreal? And does he have anything left in the tank? Injuries have been a major reason for his downfall but he's a big right handed F, play him on the wing? Less demanding on his body....

I found this on Carter : https://www.rds.ca/hockey...-il-est-echange-1.6503600.

He may retired from hockey, if traded to a team he doesn't like. I don't know that he has anything left in him.

I think Bergevin will wait this summer to add a forward. There should be a lot of options then.

What I still would like to see is him using his cap space to get assets. That could be easier to do this summer as well, but I wish it could get done.

It's concerning for sure when a player makes that kind of statement... seems like he's comfortable under the sun, collecting 5 million a season with his 2 cup rings in his back pocket! Don't need him coming all disgruntled and not wanting to do what's asked of him, it's a young team and that kind of attitude could disrupt things quite a bit!

And to be honest, I'd be more than ok with him waiting until the summer, now that Columbus has forfeited their 1st for a rental, all teams in direct competition with them (and the Habs) will feel pressure to do the same.... and that's great for Montreal, as long as they keep theirs
