It just seems to me his shot is less effective from the right side.
- Scoob

I agree. It takes away his one timer, which he's pretty good at and he sees less of the net.

Definitely. If they do go after Stone or another big money player, cap space would have to be found somewhere to sign all those younger players. Personally I'd get rid of JVR before Voracek. I think a majority of the fan base really undervalues what Voracek brings to the table. The guy has the ability to be a game breaker every night.
- FreshFlyer

My whole point for trading Voracek is that he has been part of a Core that has been consistently inconsistent. If we want the 10 game streaks to end, something has to change.

Yeah, if he's not scoring he's usually being a game breaker for the other team.

I think it's time to move on from Simmonds and Voracek should fair deals present themselves. They've been given plenty of time and plenty of linemates over the years and they aren't getting any better themselves tbh(whereas G remains old reliable). Time for something new.

I agree and I also think Voracek is more effective on the right side, but Giroux is still seeing time on the left side and not using it. So that is on him. Now if Ghost can start getting the puck on net more frequently then maybe they go back to the way they had it.

Just a few games ago Ghost finally ripped a shot through where JvR put the rebound in. Now if he can do that more often then the PP will be better and finally have multiple options. Even last night Ghost finally got a shot through and it was just a wobbling duck heading right into Price's glove, luckily Raffl got a stick on it.

Completely agree. We have danced this dance before. Not that I disagree with firing of Hextall, but if you ran out of patience with him, surely Holmgren and the big wigs have to be tired of this bubble team for seasons on end.

Any interest in Draisaitl? Laughton Jake and a prospect for him?

Flyers fans today: "If we can get x and y for Simmonds, that would be great deal."

Flyers trade Simmonds for x and y

Flyers fans after the trade: "Wow, that's all? Fire Fletcher!"

Speaking of which, Fletcher's running out of time to start highly-prized trading futures for quick fixes to salvage this season. When will this bonanza begin?

Remember I have been in 2nd round and a mid-level/roster player for Simmonds camp. If Fletcher can get more than that then I will happily tip my cap.

He's an action man. That's why he was hired. He'll spring into action any minute now.

I like his versatility to play both wing and center. I'm not sure what it would take to get him, but I'd kick the tires.

I would be interested but seems like a lateral move to move Jake for him not to mention that we are adding more

That's certainly a bad goal but goals like that happen and they happen to every goalie. It's just part of it.
