I know he wasn't asking if his comment was ridiculous, which some jerk just had to come out and say for some reason. - youarewrong
His comment that my stating that the Flyers should not sit Simmonds goes against my overall view point that the Flyers should make moves for the future was absolutely ridiculous.
I think I remember reading Panarin wanted to be in a big market, like LA. Chicago would qualify, but don't they have cap space issues still? - johndewar
They do but I think they would still be under the cap for next year, it would be a mess though. I don't blame the guy, over from Russia, gonna live here for next 8 years and then potenitally not ever again. Take your time and figure it out.
If Chuck trades Simmer to the Habs I'll forever think he's a lazy GM.
We saw that in the NBA this year when Porzingis was traded to the last team to visit NYC. It's like the GM sat in his chair until another GM physically approached him with any deal.

with or without the Cheesy Bread? - arichardson22
My senior year of college (last year) I lived next door to a dominos and we befriended a worker there that would sneakily give us any pizza that wasn't picked up
Halfway through the year he became the manager (it was a bad Domino's) so the entire store knew who we were and would give us any unclaimed pizza
We would call him "Sal Pizza Pal" and sometimes he would even call my friend to tell him there was pizza

That's dangerous! Senior 15 instead of Freshman 15?
Lindblom is strong on his skates but not fast or quick. Still like the kid and want him on the team. He does not fall under the skate well category. - ClaudeFather
He does skate well, just not fast...he will have a path like Coots in my mind...as his hockey IQ grows and he plays smarter he has the tools to be very good...if he had the speed he would be unstoppable...that is what really holds him back is his speed...

Speed, probably the most important part of the game these days... Case and point Montreal. Lindblom does not skate well, define skating well? He looks good? Who cares.

I agree. Not every player has to be a highly skilled playmaker on a team. Both Laughton and Lindblom skate well, play well physically and defensively away from the puck and can provide secondary scoring. Both are keepers. - MJL
I agree both are keepers unless you can replace them with similar keepers that add to the chemistry of the top 9.

So if he gets Nick Suzuki and a 1st from Montreal, he's a lazy GM by default? No chance that Montreal made the best offer?
Cup or bust, kind of a crazy method. Depending on seeding though, you get first Wild card you play Islanders, then Pitt/Wash, you never know. Not saying they could win it all but a deep run could happen.
