Don’t be so deep in the net and stop the puck before it hits the crossbar - EnzoD
Nonsense you have to be more responsible with the puck, he passed that puck and watched the Avs player intercepting it and it took him like a full second to realize he was on the ice playing to skate back |

Maybe they could draft the greatest goalie ever if they tank. - HawkintheD
Or maybe they could get swept in the first round and draft lower if they squeeze in the playoffs |

He did. His stick was free. He whiffed. He has to bury that puck. He had inside position and a free stick with the next wide open.
Bad goals by Delia and one sloppy pass. Margin of error is razor thin. Just not enough talent to overcome it. |

Tough to do when he's getting hit from behind as the puck is coming |

The missed (or purposely not called) grab of Toews arm (twice) that led to Colorado's 3rd goal was the turning point. That was total BS, and Colorado most likely gifted the refs some weed before the game. |

delia is having a rough go his last 3 or 4 games...
this team can't hold any team under 3 goals; and when they do their goalie has to stop 40 plus and head stand....
i guess the hawks have no choice but to play high risk wide open hockey cuz their d sucks, goaltending is up and down and their pk kills them...

No doubt...I should be rooting for them to lose games like you. Then maybe they could get a possibly more surefire prospect. |

And if the opposing goalie is standing on his head - like the Russian was tonite - they lose.
20 games still left - it’s not the end of the season. |

Paying Ward $3 mil a year and start the kid in this game ??????
Defense stinks. Gus'sucks'son should NEVER see the ice 5 on 5.
Jokiharhu is an enigma, wrapped in a riddle, inside a bus ticket.
Delia ? Looks like an AHL'er to me.
Chasing the game all night.
Got F'N Varlamov'd again.
Not the first game he's stolen at the UC. |

Yep. Hawks had the better of the play. Every good look the Avs has was in the back of the net and Varly is in the zone. When is Crow back??? |

Other than a few mistakes I thought the Hawks played with good energy and for the most part pretty well. But, it's tough to win when their goalie is better than our goalie and you give up a bunch of odd man breaks.
Varlemov was outstanding and Delia was not. Yeah Delia made a bunch of quality saves but Colorado's 1st goal was a softie through the 5-hole and the bad angle shot should have been stopped too although that was more of a great shot by them than a soft goal by Delia. Delia might eventually be the goalie of the future but as of late he's not the goalie of the present. Best thing is CC comes back and Delia goes to Rockford and away from the high pressure atmosphere. |
