The bounces that were going our way recently weren't today. Bad luck a bit today and good goal-tending for Dallas. These games have been fun to watch, but obviously not the result we want.

It was fun to be honest, but wrapped in that fun time package is a whole lot of issues that need addressing.

Thing is, I don't see what they have to sell really. The bigger deals are tied to NTCs and few would want those guys anyway. Saad is playing great lately, you may need to move him for a legit Top 4 guy.

8 games since theBoston game - 6 at home - lost 4 of them - 3 at home.

Gave up 4+ in 7 of the 8 - 33 GA in 8 games.

Even in Gretzky’s league that wouldn’t have been good enough.

Even worse that Kane’s point streak ended .

Hawks got outplayed in goal 2 consecutive huge games. PK continues to allow 1 goal a game, and both games were still right there for the taking. Get Crawford back, maybe have a game without a Powerplay goal against? 3 game win streak is now needed.

BTW, Khudobin was available this summer. Some here suggested he’d be an excellent backup for the Hawks. Stan went with Ward. Dallas got Khudobin for 2 years at $2.5M per year. He’d look good in a Hawk sweater.
