And you got rid of Lovejoy thats got to be good for lowering GAA - mdw7413
Meh, taking out Lovejoy and putting Gryba in seems like a lateral move, but Schneider has been red hot. Something like a .980 sv pct in his last three games. |

All bets are off now. Both teams are racing to the bottom. We just more assets to dumb off. |

We got a 2nd for Boyle and a 3rd for Lovejoy. So much for this being a "buyers market", I'm pretty confident Mojo can net us a late 1st or useful prospect, but after that the Devils are out of assets with any worth. |

Eligible for an extension July 1st. I'm hoping for 8 years 72 million. If he doesn't sign before next year Ray has to consider the possibility of moving him while he can get a great return. |

Sharks don't have 1st or 2nd round picks for upcoming draft, so Ryan Merkely is their only chip that I believe would interest the Rangers. I really don't think San Jose is a good trading partner for us...
In Gorton we trust... |

He’s still listed as 6’1” 175, but I do think he’s finally starting to fill out. Needs to get up to at least like 190-195. |

Looks a bit bigger this year. Last year a slow gust of wind almost took him off his skates |

Non biased convo. Who do you think is further along/better positioned for the rebuild? Us or you? I think an argument can be made for both but I'm interested in y'all opinions |

Going into this year I would say you guys were. I think we have to see what happens after the TDL, the draft and any ufa signings in the summer. Also need a couple years to see how last years draft picks turn out. Think its early for both teams |

NJ is just because of the Hank factor. NY still has two more years of Hank. It’s kind of like we had it in the early Corey years- too good of a goalie to let us get a top 5 pick.
Rangers have the benefit of better assets to trade this deadline and a better free agent draw though. |

Maybe.... we only have him signed through next year, how patient is he with the Devils after all of those terrible years in Edmonton? |

Agreed. The ufa draw argument is true. I'm worried cory is back and could negate the lundqvist argument. I think the biggest reason we are is because we have a #1 center for a decade. Those aren't easy to find. |

Yup.
I think its just early for both teams.
If we are specifically talking draft picks, yeah you guys are in better position for a higher one. |
