In an absolute value way, you are right. I just hold my initial judgement, they realize the team will never be as good as it is now ever. When is the last time an actual small market team like COlumbus won the cup? Carolina comes to mind, but that was the first year in the cap era and they had a veteran team along with Staal and Ward. They also fell off quickly. Small market teams really never win and before someone says Tampa, they have consistently been top 10 in attendance this century. I might give you the Devs, but it's still close enough to NY to perhaps make a difference.
