Abramov is a sh1tty midget who will never play in the NHL and Davidsson was a nice find in the 6th round but doesn’t have much of a ceiling. I can’t believe the Islanders didn’t have a better offer than this garbage and why would they take this with 4 days left to get a better offer?

Abramov is struggling mightily in the ahl, Davidson is a serviceable fourth liner, the idea here is extending Duschene as an insurance policy once Bread leaves.

Not defending the trade but you have to compare apples to apples...When Ottawa got Duchene, he had almost 2 years of playing time left compared to now which is less than 2 months...
And they gave up Turris who currently has a big cap hit, plays on the 3rd line and is a shell of himself, Bowers who isn't doing better than the players they got today, Hammond was a cap dump, not even playing in the NHL...what really hurts is the dive they took and what looks like the 1st round pick to be top 5...
And that was hard to predict even by all the haters...
