Good lord the price for Perry in this blog is reRichard and you think they will retain salary for you too?! I wish I lived in Canada, not only is your quality of life much better then in the states your weed is apparently more awesome too!
- coffee junkie

What do you expect to get for Perry at this point? The Ducks would be lucky to get rid of him.

I think MB will do a cap deal Hockey move...use the Habs considerable cap space to get an aging vet; but the key will be a young player or prospect/pick. Much what he did to get Arnia.

I'd pass on Zucker

But if Brodin was made available, you have to believe Bergy would be interested... but what are we looking at? Poehling + a 1st?

I think so too... Gotta think Minnesota would be all over the idea of acquiring Poehling!

What if it goes down at the draft with the pick already determined to be after 20, you do it then?

nope.
Poehling is our #1 prospect. I'd trade him only for a young (22y/o) future top dman, a bit like the Drouin Sergachev deal.

Just go ahead and say it.... Provorov 😀

I think Suzuki is their #1 prospect, with Poehling a close 2nd, but that's just my opinion... I've been wrong plenty

He didn't impress, you're right but he managed 3 assists while being relatively quiet... Gotta look at the bigger picture though, I'm not gonna judge it based on a 19 year old's 5 game performance... And that's not taking anything away from Poehling! I think the "difference maker" potential is higher for Suzuki

you probably know them better than I do. hopefully they will both succeed at the higher level, we desperately need it.
isn't there a site where they rank prospects?

I dont think I know them better, actually I've seen very little of Poehling... I wouldn't be too interested in trading either one anyway

Here's the top 50 prospects not in the NHL

And they agree with you, Poehling at 36 and Suzuki 39

You can't base your opinion of a prospect just with the WJC. Very small sample.
