Yes, I agree. Risto has great value.

My point was:
Columbus would have interest in my opinion.
They are "going for it" this year

Josh Anderson is a start. Just a suggestion, more so a response to : Columbus has nothing to trade.

Yes they do- josh Anderson +

- Boss34

They have one pick in the 1st three rounds the next 2 years.

It'd need to be Anderson+++ and they don't have any + let alone +++.

They aren't good trade partners IMO.

Risto has a tendency to turn the puck over in his end.
(Often)
His outlet passing is Marginal

If those 2 things were to improve, as well as his -16.

He would be a top 10 nhl defenseman

- Boss34

At this point I think he is who he is I can’t see him drastically changing.

I don't think anyone actually overvalues him.

His contract, though, drives his price up big-time.

5.5 for a PP specialist who gets 40+ points per year? He will be a regular 60-point guy on Tampa Bay, easy.

- BeadyEyedDouche

He won’t get the minutes on Tampa to get 60 points

The minutes he gets might also help him in his own end.

Who do you like, realistically, off Tampa?

Dubois?

They have a roster full of players they could trade.
Or even panarin? And we flip him?

Anderson +++ for risto? Were not talking eichel

Seems like a team that would want risto.

Cal Foote, JT Miller and unprotected (like that matters) 1st in 2020.

We can give back 2nd in 2021 and Risto.

If this is true I really hope JB has something lined up to bring in another RH d-man. If not they are gonna be even worse on defense for a long time.

Cal Foote shoots right. Is he a RD?

He's going to be a stud.

Sergachev and Dahlin on the 1st pair.
- mhp

He plays 3rd pair for them
Might be a lot to ask
He’s still pretty young

Would be an interesting get, with Nolan Foote as possible late 1st.

I'd have to insist on Foote if I'm GMJB.

They aren’t moving Dubois.

And Anderson isnt the type of player you start with on a trade.

Thing is, if bolts get risto they win the cup. I think botts could coax an overpayment

Were overvaluing risto because:

He's tough
Hard to play against
Blocks shots
On pace for 50 plus points
Top 5 in nhl ice time
Big
Fast
Skates with an edge
Young
Has a great contract
Leadership- alternate captain

And your point is? Metrics

He plays against the top players in the league.
Yes, his defense is suspect at times

- Boss34

Almost all of those things can be said of Bogosian (he doesn't get the gift points that Risto gets playing on the pp). The numbers across the board say that he is an average player and getting worse. I've seen plenty of big, fast guys with an A that weren't very good. We can (and should) hope for better.

Sure:

So cbus has nothing to trade?

How about Anderson?

No way ,it has to be Anderson +++

How about a different roster player? Or dubois?

No they aren't trading Dubois

Great back and forth

Ever since I went Mac 10 years ago I’ve never had a computer virus and never had to take anything in for service. I’ll never own a PC again.
- Pairo11

MAC is 100% the way to go imo
Especially if u aren’t all that computer savvy
Less issues to deal with
And very easy to use once u get the hang of them
