I know what Buffalo has. I don’t think they should part with the 3 firsts or any high end prospects for a rental. Not this year. If they were 5th or better then I would say yes, not 10th. - c1067

What does Fla need that we can offer in exchange for Huber-d'oh?
Besides a muzzle for Keith Yandle. |

can we convince the oilers that both puljujarvi and Nylander need a change of scenery? - Michael Pachla
Wonder if Edmonton is ready to give up on puljujarvi? I would do that all day long. Kids got talent |

I said they shouldn’t mortgage the future for a pending UFA “Rental”. I never said to not make a trade for somebody who is under contract after July 1st. |

How many games has Nylander played for the Sabres? Bring him up for the rest of the year and see what he does. Why not? - c1067

Nylander has talent too.
The difference is, one hasn't been given a chance w the big club. |

Yes, and he adds depth to our D as in defense - lulags
Huh?
Are u just saying he’s a good defensive forward?
Sounds like you’re saying he’s a defenseman |
|

He's really in a tough spot, if those trades are all he can make on Monday.
Trading away a few depth guys for picks only forces him to replace those players in the lineup with the successful Rochester guys (and I know we all want to see what Nylander, Oloffson, etc can do), but all that does is deplete the piss out of a team (the Amerks) that has a legit chance to do some damage in the playoffs.
It's like, what's the point? - Powerslave

So it's OK for you to criticize me but not me to criticize you? - sabresfan69
Criticize me all you want. It is your right.
It won't change my generally positive attitude just like my generic statement won't change yours. |

Can our GM not make a trade at the deadline that improves our team and does not mortgage the future?
Or do you feel Botts is trash? - sabresfan69
I love when people use this passive aggressive logic. Hockey trades like this at the deadline are unicorns. Very unlikely we see one made by anyone tomorrow. If JB can't do it (for fair value), then he's trash.
Accept that the type of trade you're looking for is an off-season deal.

I like Wennberg for value. He doesn't fit in CBus because of Torts.
The value of buy low for a potential 60 point center is worth the risk. He will come reasonably cheap. |

Oglevie and Malone can do just fine next season as Lockport Larry and reason why mid first round picks are nothing special Gus

Gotcha
Sorry, i was just confused as to what u meant
I think Wilson is a perfect depth forward
We have a lot of those guys though
What would your ideal 4th line & 13th forward be for next year? |
