Lindholm is just over 5 mil. Connor Brown is a forward Wolfie. I threw him in there as a possible hockey trade with our future in mind. - nickmo2699
Doh! Had Connor Carrick on my mind. |

That all said, concerning my new-found willingness to "agree", if anyone sees me agreeing with PowerEnforcer and his tin foil hat gig just assume someone has stolen my logon credentials.
OldDuffman is a little too pom pom level for me as well.
That said, I love the fact both those posters bring their "unique view" to the table. Things would be boring as poop if we were all singing the same tune. - kwolf68

Happy #NHLTradeDeadline Day!
I'd expect little to nothing from the #Blackhawks today, other than maybe a minor deal to create roster space. - mrpaulish
Same old crap out of them every year, you think they may look at a player like Kevin Hayes or Dougie Hamilton per se, and try to get aggressive to work a deal to maybe re-sign them right away kind of like what Washington did with Nick Jensen.
Then all the build up to July 1, and it'll be the same crap as last year, a big build up and it all goes up in smoke. I for one hope that they do get aggressive and make a "hockey trade " today and be aggressive. |

This is pretty much what everyone thinks. But I doubt that will have people relinquishing their fixation on the refresh button. |

So who signs in Ottawa this summer? Only the most desperate UFA's?
To get to the Cap floor the Sens will most likely become a dumping ground for existing contracts.
Watch AA end up there on July 1 -serviceable player, higher Cap hit, cheap salary after bonus is paid. - 67hawks
I wonder if Hossa some how gets traded back to Ottawa. |

Ahh what? LOL. You interpreted that as a threat? Yes, because when I said, I really like what you bring to the table in here, despite my unwillingness to agree with it, I could see why you'd be all worked up.

There is no threat in what he said.
None.
Just that if he agrees with you that someone may have hacked his account. Relax. Adjust the tin foil. Itlll all be ok. |

Yea I was like WTF?
PE has a "thing" he consistently pushes. I take him to task on it, mostly by posting funny pics of tin foil hat. I think he's in lala land with some of the stuff he posts, but I actually kinda like it. No, I don't support delusion, but I do support people with divergent views. He has one. |

It's gotta be Bettman hacking hockeybuzz accounts, but ONLY Blackhawks fans because he's out to get us and to keep us down. I heard he was on suicide watch in 2010, 2013 and 2015 as his master plan to destroy all thing Blackhawks backfired. |

You can joke about that all you want, there is some truth to it. Like I said, as long as a Wirtz owns the team, they will be blackballed. You can laugh all you want, but that is a fact, and no one but me has the guts to call it out. |

It is a "unique view".
Unique = rare.
Who else in this group pushes the conspiracy stuff that you do? Yes, plenty complain about refs, but I can't count another poster who believes bad calls against the Hawks are part of some grand Bettman lead conspiracy to push the Hawks down.
Bettman is generally pretty incompetent, that I will agree with, but reading your posts it's like he has a logarithm planned out on his office white board with the "one goal" of Blackhawk destruction.
So YES, your view is "unique". |

2009 through 2015 seem to not agree. The finest and most dominant hockey team, one of the LEAST penalized teams, a team that won 3 Cups in 6 years, probably has a fourth Cup had Q put Shaw in between Kane/Saad before they were down 3-1 versus the Kings.
The real conspiracy is
-Our players have gotten older, decline is expected
-Salary cap has hampered ability to fill in depth spots
-Yes there has been a couple poor moves along the way, self-induced, but even if Bowman does not trade Danault for example, the Hawks are still not a Cup challenger
I guess Bettman is to blame for aging? |

So I suppose all those WC games and the draft being in Chicago last year were all some sort of grand plan to leave Chicago and the Hawks wearing egg on their face and put the wheels in motion to get them out of town?
You can call it out all you want but the actions of the league don’t really match your assertions. |

#preds spent a first-round pick on Ryan Hartman last year on Deadline Day. Believe he is in play today as well, perhaps as part of a bigger package. |

Traction has picked up on LA front. Multiple players in play. Hayes may be Jets backup play if they can't land Stone. |

I am personally not a tanker - cannot root for my team to lose.
But, in the interests of comity (no, Elbows, that's not about being funny), here's the current draft info...

End all tanking - and talk of tanking.
Change the draft to go to the wheel. |

Always one of my favorite days and less than 5 hours remaining til the deadline. I'll go out on a limb and bet Kunitz and Forsling are the only ones moved today. No reason to trade Hayden unless he's apart of a deal with one of those two. Wonder what Carolina would give up for Ward? |
